I'm making a post for day 41 even though it was definitely a flop. I was feeling pretty weird all weekend, I blamed coffee deprivation, but on Monday I woke up and felt like my brain was jello. Gross. My throat was sore and I was pretty much in LaLa land. My boss was nice enough to let me leave early and work from home, so I scooted my boot straight back to Lakeview and after some failed wifi attempts, passed out. Okay, here's the thing: I know I'm on a 100-day challenge, but I think that yesterday taught me what my rules are. With school and work, I can't really afford to physically push myself when I'm under the weather because I'm risking prolonging the illness and then, not only do I suffer, but the people I work with, and to some extend study with, suffer too. I started this challenge as a fun way to give myself some high quality ME time and I definitely don't want to feel wildly guilty if I take a sick day here and there. Maybe I'll extend the challenge to 102 days or something- like what schools do when there's an unexpected snow day!
On another note, anyone know some great, healthy soup recipes? Also, what is the opinion on juice detoxes?
