TODAY WAS SO COOL! Good thing I stretched out my hammies in C2 last night, because today I went snowboarding for the first time. A few visits to Utah have made me a pretty decent skier, however boarding was a whole new animal. My youngest sister was taking a lesson at Wilmot Mountain so I decided to tag along. Let's be real, the 11 year old and I were definitely at the same skill level. Though she may have been better...Two hours later I was sore, though happy to report that my ego is more bruised than my body! It looks like all that yoga and balance board-ing helped me cruise, however, I struggled to slow down and couldn't figure out how to stop. Every time I was in danger of hitting an innocent child on skies, I would just plop down on the ground. I guess there isn't really a right or wrong way to stop as long as no one gets hurt. Right, right?! I'm going to try to go back and practice a few times before the winter is over. It was a fierce workout and I've heard that it takes three or four times to really master the basics. It's a pricy workout, but definitely worth it. The adrenaline rush is just incredible.
Peace, love, sweat xoxo SR
